Privacy Statement

The National Forest Trek is a partnership event between The National Forest Company (charity No 1166563), the National Memorial Arboretum (charity number 1043992) and the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Benevolent Fund (charity number 1185308) (the partners).

Your data, submitted by entering this event, will be processed by the National Memorial Arboretum; The National Forest Company and The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Benevolent Fund and event agents,TrailPlus and Perfect Motion, via the online entry platform, Active Network. We take your privacy seriously and we will only use the information you have provided to correspond with you about the event and to process your entry. If you consent to receive further information from any of the partners, your data will be passed to them to process your request to enable you to receive this information from the selected partner. We will not share your data outside these organisations and promise to keep your personal information safe and secure.

Fundraising and Gift Aid data will be shared with all three partners who will hold this information for seven years in accordance with accountancy law. If you have requested to receive updates and further information from any of the partners, we will continue to send this to you until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time, change the way we contact you or update your details by using the contact details below.*

If you do not fundraise for the event, nor choose to receive further information from any of the three partners, your data will be destroyed within six months of the event.
