NEW FOR 2024..

THE VIRTUAL NATIONAL FOREST TREK

Whilst the founding charities of the National Forest Trek review the event’s viability for 2024 and beyond, we’re re-introducing our virtual trek to enable you to continue to ‘walk’ the 75 miles, or 120km of the National Forest Way, but on your own terms, when and where it suits you. It’s free to enter and you can walk as little or as far as you want on any given day between now and the end of April. We will still be supporting you at every step with ‘real’ updates from the National Forest Way and an interactive map you can follow your progress on.

You can sign up by yourself or as part of a team. But the main thing is to get active, have fun and spend time outdoors, which is hugely beneficial for both physical and mental wellbeing. Register now to take part in a challenge for everyone in 2024.

EXPERIENCE THE NATIONAL FOREST WAY

  • Step into nature

Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors. Weave, wander and wonder as you go, and take time to enjoy the peace of nature, either in the National Forest itself, or from the luxury of your own outdoor surroundings.

  • Walk it your way

You can choose to walk the 75 miles, or 120km of the National Forest Way virtually from your own doorstep, or take in one or more of the 12 stages at your leisure. Or why not combine the two to suit your individual or group needs?

  • GREAT FOR WELLBEING

Taking part in the virtual national forest trek is a great way to start the new year, motivating yourself to be more active, take on a challenge and make time for some outdoor headspace.

  • Make a difference

Whilst this isn’t a fundraising initiative per se, the founding charities of the National Forest Trek would very much appreciate any support you can give, So, if you do fancy raising money in completing your 75 mile / 120km challenge, please set up a page and get fundraising.
